The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data, generating reports, and providing insights to support our forecasting efforts.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Entry-Level Data Analyst Responsibilities Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support forecasting activities.
Develop and maintain forecasting models using Excel.
Prepare and present reports on forecast accuracy, trends, and performance to the forecasting team.
Identify and communicate trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data that may impact the accuracy of forecasts.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements and enhancements.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of forecasting techniques such as regression analysis and time series analysis.
Familiarity with database querying and management using SQL.
Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and normalization.
